So, as it turns out, I'm making some decent strides toward completing this particular list of things to accomplish before the 22nd of December! I'm proud to say I have been drinking more water than diet coke (evil, evil stuff!), drinking far less alcohol than I was (so by default, I'm far less prone to mix alcohols), I tried a spin class (yeahhhh SoulCycle -- truly addicted), bought a new bright lipstick at Sephora and have done a pretty darn good job of taking off my make up every night.
I've also been eating super healthy, for the most part, which inludes jucies/smoothies for lunch with lots of kale, ginseng, berries and water for good measure as well as less carbohydrates and more veggies. All in all, a solid past 6 week or so. Some of these numbers are easier to tackle in the coming warmer months...if only they would get here! I can't wait to wander the city again and enjoy New York in the spring.
- embrace an entrepreneurial spirit
- cook more
- run two more half marathons
- visit far-away friends in atlanta and/or nashville
- re-string my violin
- learn one new italian word a day
- make a date with a friend at least once a week
- read one book a month
- see more free or cheap concerts in nyc
- explore new york by foot more
- visit at least two new museums
- arrange a picnic with friends in central park when it's warm
- come up with quirky, cheap dates for me + m
- blog more!
- experiment with new bright lipsticks
- take off said makeup every single night
- go ice skating in central park
- rent a car and drive upstate in the summer or fall
- drink more water (less diet coke!)
- pack lunches once and for all
- try yoga or spin class
- stop mixing beer + liquor. order doesn't matter. it = hangover at almost thirty.
- organize my blog reading
- take a cooking class
- watch a movie in brooklyn battery park
- figure out a skincare routine
- actually print pictures i take
- sail again on the hudson river
- throw a memorable thirtieth birthday party
